Redefining The Meaning Of "Woot"
Let's Meet The New Folks This Week
Rarely have we seen such high quality first timers, these two were off the chart as far as skill and style.  Steven Gregory?  Where do I begin.  At highly accomplished guitarist, powerful writer, bold vocalist, and a force of nature onstage.  He stepped up in the middle of that insane St. Pat's crowd and won over lovable mob in record time.  I would describe his sound as "Articulate and Agile" - he climbs all over the neck and his range on the instrument is matched by his exceptional voice.  This is a mature Player who can righteously be called an artist.  He's got a CD out and you should hear him as soon as you can.  We also got a very strong set from Dawn Cooksey.  Here is a totally confident Player, solid as a rock and fully realized.  Another strong voice and a cadre of her own songs to perform add to the impression that the only thing missing is several albums and a whole bunch of fans.  That will come, no doubt.  Also on hand was an old school blues based finger picking pro, Kelly Brogdon.  Woah, what a set.  You don't see many practitioners of this style anymore and we were lucky to have him on hand.  This is the real blues; just a man his voice his guitar and a song.  His intricate fingerstyle made the music all the more haunting.  We need more of this at our Big Show, and we hope to see our pal Kelly again soon.
SO!  Once again, the shocking facts are that we're coming up on FOUR YEARS and we still have new contributers at The Acoustic Revival almost every week, and frequently they are as good as any Players, anywhere.  Steven, Dawn, and Kelly, thank you and
WELCOME TO THE ACOUSTIC REVIVAL FAMILY!

PLAYERS MAKING IT A PARTY!
Lots of fun and music lately.  A real bright spot was Dave Hamilton.  This guy is REALLY sharp as a writer, and has a way with a hook that is rare indeed.  A great addition to the set.  Oh!  And we got a visit from one of our OG's!  Rob stopped by!  You may remember him as Robusto Rejecto.  Ah, the days of Ghetto Fabulous.  Come play soon Robber.  Smokin' Joe also had a triumphant return and kicked large booty (as usual).  Persephone, who travels with a throng of worshipper like The Dead) made the show and was nifty again.  Chris Calo tore it up in his special Calo-Method manner.  And we got a return visit from our only registered, federal-level felon Berzerkle.  No one was injured.  Not seriously.  Thanks, as always, to everyone who contributed, and see you next time.

Kristin forces her way into yet another picture, this time stealing the limelight from Matt.
Understanding the importance of dignity prevents me from showing all of Mandy's... EXPOSURE!
Mark and Christy were there, and that's how you know it's a party.
The delightful, the lovely, the miraculous in her devine coolitude,

Several thousand dollars and years of hard work later, everyone associated with Marina was forced to confess that charm school had been an utter waste of money.
Having seen what happens on this stage, I would recommend that Persephone soak her feet in Liquid Plumber immediately.
