| Hey, where'd this guy come from? Everyone has enjoyed Marishah Paddock's great sets, and now it appears that there is some sort of "Talent Gene" in the Paddock family. Josh is damn near as pro as you can get. At ease and causally confident with his material, he plays with great conviction and his songs are full of the same sort of evocative imagery that makes the acoustic form so vital. I don't think anyone was ready for the level of talent he displayed. And he has a sense of humor! Really, it was just a treat to listen to him. The time he and his sister spent on stage together was... man, it was really cool. Seriously cool. I just hope this man makes The Acoustic Revival a regular stop. |
