| Funny is tough. Lot of people don't think so, but most of them aren't funny. Darren Maddox is funny. Makes it look easy as a matter of fact. I could go into some broad description of the reasons he's funny (his song "Someone Ate The Baby" springs to mind immediately") but better you just haul your carcass out to The Acoustic Revival and see for yourself. I will offer this: he's a solid songwriter with compelling material, and it also just happens that his subject of choice is often humerous in nature. In other words, he's a real Player, and he also happens to be a hoot. Come on out and see him. |
